pattern player

I've just recently started mixing my patterns. I know I'm a little late to the game, but better late than never right? Anyway, I've been loving mixing leopard with anything and everything. For me, it is a neutral and can be paired all kinds of ways. Plus, it's my favorite print ever (besides floral, duh). So why not mix it with a polka dot shirt and blue pants. I mean, it's only right.What are your favorite patterns to mix?

chic flats

I'm a flat girl. Yeah, I said it. I would much rather be in a pair of cute flats than a pair of heels any day. That is why I'm so excited about some of the new styles of flats that I've been seeing recently. They are so chic and so versatile. I love that you can dress them up or dress them down. They are pretty much perfect which is why I love them so much. I'm absolutely loving pointy toes right now. I can't wait to get my hands on some of these and style them for the fall. I put together a few of my faves flats that I hope to wear in the upcoming fall season.

Dressed up weekend

Some weekends call for dressing up and this past weekend did just that. I was in the mood to ditch my normal t-shirt and jeans duds and put on something a little more put together. This look definitely did the trick and I think this is the perfect look for a date. Not that I'm going on one anytime soon, but I digress. I love using black pants as a way to dress up anything else I pair with it. They are such a staple piece and something I will never get tired of wearing. I'm also digging this kimono like top. I see this look working well in any type of weather.
